Daylesford Men’s Shed

Daylesford Men's Shed has evolved, since its inception in 2011, to a first class facility for providing the men of Daylesford and surrounds with their own meeting space. A modern shed of around 305 square metres in area, houses a communal meeting space with its own kitchen, and separate workshop areas catering for woodwork, metal fabrication, and other craftwork.

As an autonomous member of both the Australian Men's Shed Association, and the Victorian Men's Shed Association, we are part of a national brotherhood of fellow "shedders", yet we are not bound to any professed creed or culture, or dictated policy.

Our shed is open on Mondays and Thursdays from around 9:30am (till usually around 3:00pm), except for a short Christmas break and Covid restrictions. It is alcohol free, except for designated special occasions, and we have no expectations of our members, except for mutual respect and consideration for others.

We provide the opportunity for companionship, as well as the exploration of hidden talents (tools provided) in a friendly and caring environment where nothing is expected, and help is always at hand - if you need it...
